Air Quality Dispersion Modeling

I provide air quality modeling in support of permitting and regulatory analyses, as well as impact assessments. Model selection and application are based not only on regulatory requirements, but also on a thorough understanding of client needs, meteorological factors, model limitations, and the characteristics of available model input data. Over the course of my career I have successfully completed hundreds of complex modeling projects for a wide range of clients including:

• large industrial complexes with hundreds of emission points in both rural and urban areas,
• deposition calculations,
• evaluation of fugitive dust impacts, and
• also relatively simple facilities with only a few emission points.

I will continue to develop unique modeling approaches as necessary to address regulatory requirements, compliance problems, and design/control questions.

Air Quality Permitting

I provide comprehensive air quality permitting and compliance services ranging from minor source permitting to complex permitting of major sources and modifications in both attainment (PSD) and non-attainment (NSR) areas. It is equally important that the permit conditions for compliance plans and construction/operating permits are practical, cost effective, and flexible. This is the best way to ensure continued compliance with complex and ever-changing air quality rules and regulations.
